Great view at Daegu's Novotel Hotel.
Great wool shop Jefa and I discovered at Seoman market.
Amazing teacher's day pen one of my students made me.
A red carnation is the symbol of Teacher's day and Parent's Day.

Making origami boxes filled with chocolate with my afterschool class.
Intended as Parent's Day gifts but I'm not sure how many parents saw the chocolate!

I'm not sure about this portrait...

Sara riding home from Korean class with a cake attached to her bike.
Roses at school.
Birthday noraebang fun! First time we have ever had a mic stand in a noraebang.
Really adds to a power ballad performance.

row row row your boat

Going Dragon Boat racing in Ulsan seemed like a great idea, despite no one on our team having done it before. We set off full of optimism but seconds later things started to slightly fall apart when we discovered that we could not move in a straight line. Whilst all the other teams waited at the start line, we moved further and further away, finally getting towed to the start line. The picture below shows what happened after the start of the race. I think you'll be able to guess which boat is ours.

Despite this slight failure, I had a great weekend in Ulsan which included beach time, moroccan food, drinks on a roof top terrace (a novelty in Korea) and a full english breakfast!
